Can I have aesthetic treatments during the summer?
Certain treatments can be performed during the summer when the patient follows strict sun-protection instructions. However, recent tanning, planned sun exposure, and inability to avoid direct sunlight may affect eligibility for IPL, laser resurfacing, chemical peels, and laser hair removal. Your provider will review your recent and upcoming sun exposure before treatment.
How do I book an appointment?
You can book online at skinnovativela.com, call us at (310) 269-9337, or email admin@skinnovativela.com.
What is Morpheus8 and how does it work?
Morpheus8 is a minimally invasive fractional radiofrequency treatment that remodels and contours the face and body. It combines microneedling with RF energy to stimulate collagen production, tighten skin, and reduce wrinkles. Results are visible within a few weeks and improve over 3 months.
How many sessions of laser hair removal do I need?
Most clients need 6–8 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart for permanent hair reduction. The exact number depends on skin type, hair color, and treatment area.
What is CO2 Laser treatment?
CO2 Laser (CoolPeel TetraPro) is an advanced skin resurfacing treatment that targets fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, sun damage, and uneven skin tone. It stimulates collagen renewal for smoother, younger-looking skin.
What is the difference between CoolPeel and traditional CO2 laser resurfacing?
CoolPeel is a controlled CO2 laser treatment designed to address concerns such as texture, pores, fine lines, and superficial sun damage with less thermal exposure than more aggressive CO2 resurfacing. Traditional fractional CO2 treatments can be performed at greater depth and intensity for more advanced concerns, but they generally involve more downtime and a more intensive recovery period. Your provider will recommend the appropriate CO2 setting based on your skin and treatment goals.
Is PRF better than PRP?
PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) is a more advanced version of PRP. It contains a higher concentration of growth factors and releases them more slowly, providing longer-lasting skin rejuvenation results.
What is PDRN (Salmon Sperm Injection)?
PDRN (Polydeoxyribonucleotide) is an advanced regenerative treatment derived from salmon DNA. It repairs damaged skin, improves elasticity, reduces pigmentation, and restores a youthful glow with minimal downtime.
What is Sculptra, and how is it different from filler?
Sculptra is a biostimulatory injectable used to support gradual collagen production. Its effect develops progressively rather than creating the immediate volume associated with many hyaluronic acid fillers. It may be considered for patients seeking gradual improvement in facial structure, volume loss, or skin quality. Multiple sessions may be recommended, and results vary.
Is IPL the same as a laser?
IPL stands for intense pulsed light. It uses multiple wavelengths of light rather than the single focused wavelength associated with many laser devices. IPL treatments may target concerns such as brown spots, sun damage, redness, and visible vessels in appropriately selected patients. IPL is not suitable for every skin type or every pigmentation concern, so professional assessment is required.
Is there downtime after aesthetic treatments?
Downtime depends on the procedure and treatment intensity. Some services have little or no visible recovery, while deeper laser resurfacing, RF microneedling, stronger chemical peels, and injectable procedures may cause temporary redness, swelling, sensitivity, bruising, peeling, or crusting. Your provider will explain the expected recovery before treatment so you can plan accordingly.
Can I combine different aesthetic treatments?
Yes, some treatments can be combined or strategically scheduled to address multiple concerns.
For example, a treatment plan may address pigmentation, texture, laxity, volume loss, and muscle movement using different modalities. However, treatments must be spaced appropriately to reduce unnecessary irritation and complications.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. We offer flexible financing options through CareCredit and Alphaeon Credit.
Qualified clients may choose from:
- 6-month installment plans
- 12-month installment plans
- 24-month financing at 17.99% APR
Approval, available terms, and minimum purchase requirements are determined by the financing provider. Our team can help you review the available options before beginning your treatment plan.
